Su Apartment – the details
Modern and impressive, this duplex (on two floors) apartment is built to an exceptionally high standard. Antique marble flooring is standard in all rooms and air conditioning, that all-important ‘must have’, is provided throughout, not just the bedrooms! Out of season, this can be used to heat as well as cool.
Ground floor
The light & airy open plan lounge and dining area feature a traditional lime stone wall and are tastefully decorated in a contemporary Turkish style. A dining table and chairs are also provided in the dining area and there are comfortable sofas/sofa beds for guests’ relaxation in the lounge. LCD TV, satellite and DVD player are also provided. Wide French doors lead onto the wide, private patio.
Fully fitted kitchen
The fantastically equipped kitchen has many wall and base units and is complete with solid granite work tops. Modern appliances include stainless steel oven, hob, extractor fan, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. An iron and ironing board are also provided for the use of guests. All crockery and utensils are included from great chopping knives to champagne flutes. Guests will also find state of the art gadgets from an automatic juicer to an electric ice crusher.
The ground floor also features a spacious, fully tiled bathroom with large walk-in power shower, sink and w.c. Solid beech spiral stairs lead up to the first floor.
First Floor
The master bedroom is exceptionally spacious with king size bed, wardrobes, dressing table and hairdryer. There is also a sofa provided in this suite style bedroom. Doors open onto the private balcony, furnished with a table and chairs, a perfect spot from which to enjoy those superb sea views. Bedroom two has twin beds (can be made as a double), wardrobes, dressing table and hairdryer. Air conditioning is throughout.
A further large, fully tiled bathroom is provided upstairs, again with spacious, walk-in power shower, sink, mirrors and WC. The two well-equipped bathrooms make the Su Apartment ideal for couples sharing.
Location, location, location
The apartment enjoys a poolside location and is located on the ground floor, the most enviable position of all, close to the large, impressive swimming pool. Wide French doors open onto a spacious private patio, where you can take an al Fresco breakfast or simply enjoy the early morning sunshine. The patio leads out to the large pools, specifically for exclusive use by Emir guests. An additional large pool is available which also provides further spacious sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols. The uninterrupted views of Kalkan Bay are spectacular.
The apartment’s water is heated by an electric water heater to ensure that hot water is constantly available. The Emir apartments also benefit from a back up electricity generator. There are car spaces for guests who wish to hire a car in Kalkan, though being so central this is not necessary. Please note that the apartment is not suitable for young children or persons with restricted mobility.
